Red algae contains a high concentration of Iodine compounds such as TEA-Hydroiodide, an elelemnt that is key in anti-cellulite teraphies due to their effective lipolytic effect by stimulating lipases.  Iodine stimulates general body metabolism and increase osmotic exchanges thus eliminating excess fluids from the tissue.
